This one of a handful of Greyhounds I met while sitting having lunch outside on the Oregon Coast. Part of a Rescue; they all had their scars; visible and invisible ones. Shy and Sweet, this one had my Heart on first glance.
Their Stories of the abuse and maltreatment that was known from the Dog Racing Times, filled in many details I had heard about from other Dog Rescues and Dog Lovers. Assuredly it is not everyone; yet to see the physical evidence on their bodies and feel it from their Souls, I thought to help and share some images with the Rescue, and as I traveled to educate others'.
"Let's Face It"...one that speaks volumes of the Spirit that was 'almost' broken, and yet was reviving amidst Love and Loving Care.
